3 World Premiers – 3 LD Classics – 1 Extraordinary Evening!!
For the first time in its 14 year history, the M&T Bank Dance Series will include a local company. LehrerDance, Buffalo’s internationally-renowned professional dance company, will kick off the season with a stunning concert showcasing the LehrerDance trademark blend of artistry and athleticism. The performance will feature three world premieres :
“Murmur” – An intimate quartet inspired by the flocking of birds and the inherent energy that exists between all beings.
“Like 100 Men” – A jazz inspired showcase for the four LehrerDance men featuring the music of classic jazz musician Johnny Frigo.
“Skeletons” – A full company comedic romp about those things we would like to do, but usually cannot.
