The Buffalo Dance Festival will be returning to the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts this summer to expand upon the incredible success experienced with the program last year. The excitement for this year’s annual engagement is especially high because the dynamic Bill Evans Dance Company will be joining a lineup that already includes Configuration Dance Theatre and LeherDance.
Presented through a partnership between the Buffalo Dance Festival (BDF) and the Center for the Arts, the BDF is a great opportunity for Western New York’s dancers, students, and audiences to experience an exciting day of classes and a dynamic evening performance by these three internationally renowned dance companies.

Who: Male and Female Dancers - 21 yrs. old & over
No Appointments Necessary
LehrerDance is looking for male and female dancers for company
and apprentice positions. Bring headshot and resume - will not be
given back. Come prepared to dance, no warm-up will be given,
audition will consist of company repertoire. Appropriate dance attire
required, no baggy clothes or warm-ups to be worn during audition.
Do not wear dance shoes of any kind, must audition barefoot. No
appointment necessary.

his definitive style. Jon’s extensive background in both the modern

Dance Dynamics offers students from across Western New York ages 12 to adult with ballet, jazz or modern training. LehrerDance classes, you will learn Jon's unique style from him and his company members, dance with professionals and learn company repertoire. Jon Lehrer is the former Associate Director and Resident Choreographer of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. After 11 years with the world's foremost jazz dance company, Jon has started LehrerDance, the new professional dance company based in Buffalo, NY. Jon's extensive experience in both the modern and jazz dance idioms allows him to create dances that are organic, artistic, accessible, often humorous and always inspired by life experience and the human condition.
